Pediatrics

Monica is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Boston College and her Master’s Degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, primary care from Drexel University.

Monica has over twelve years of experience working with newborns and their families. She started her nursing career at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in the Newborn/Infant Intensive Care Unit and has worked in NICUs in both Boston and Washington DC. She has a special interest in educating families, helping them to learn how to care for their infant, and supporting breastfeeding needs in the initial newborn period.

Monica grew up in Havertown, Delaware county, and she and her husband now live in Conshohocken.
